Examining the percentage arguments that white supremacists use to criminalize blacks.

Posted by saye on Monday, August 15, 2016,

The percentage arguments that white supremacists use to criminalize blacks using crime data is old but powerful propaganda.

For Example, the 2014 FBI CRIME data says blacks are responsible for 58.9% of Gambling Crimes.
What the White nationalists and White supremacists fail to tell you is that there were ONLY 4,363 Gambling crimes listed, and that blacks were responsible for 2,568 of those crimes.

When you put into Context that Blacks represent around 38,929,319 of the total population (13%) a...

Nathaniel (the suspected white nationalist sympathizer): Why don’t you care about the high black on black crime. Look at the high Chicago crime rate. Also, blacks are dangerous. They are only 13% of the population, yet they are responsible for 51% of the murders and violent crimes. Do...

What is Social Entrepreneurship

Posted by saye on Tuesday, July 26, 2016,

I’m often asked why I advocate for social entrepreneurship and why it is so important to me. I find social entrepreneurship important on many levels because it has the potential to be the stepping-stone, which convinces people to eventually start embracing the concept of a resource, based economy, over the current monetary system. I see those who chose to become social entrepreneurs as conscious minded people who care about humanity and who are willing to break away from a...

Example of the 1up Entertainment business strategy, broken down into its simplest form

Posted by saye on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, In : 1up Entertainment Consulting

Five individuals live in the Washington D.C. area.

Mike has just opened a brand new restaurant and business is really slow. He does not have money to launch a marketing campaign, and he knows he needs some form of revenue to start paying the rent on his new building. He’s contacted a web designer, but the cost of the website digs into his electric bill, which is more important for now. The web designer is also responsible for doing the first wave of promotional print materials. He needs to ...

Martin Luther King Jr. Message to White America (Laws vs Sacrifices)

Posted by saye on Friday, July 4, 2014,

Why is equality so assiduously avoided? Why does white America delude itself, and how does it rationalize the evil it retains?

The majority of white Americans consider themselves sincerely committed to justice for the Negro. They believe that American society is essentially hospitable to fair play and to steady growth toward a middle-class Utopia embodying racial harmony. But unfortunately this is a fantasy of self-deception and comfortable vanity. Overwhelmingly America is still struggling ...

Martin Luther King Jr. Views of America's Forefathers

Posted by saye on Monday, June 30, 2014,

Virtually all of the Founding Fathers of our nation, even those who rose to the heights of the presidency, those whom we cherish as our authentic heroes, were so enmeshed in the ethos of slavery and white supremacy that not one ever emerged with a clear, unambiguous stand on Negro rights.  No human being is perfect.  In our individual and collective lives every expression of greatness is followed, not by a period symbolizing completeness, but by a comma implying partialness.  Following every ...

Martin Luther King Jr. made a great argument for Black Americans to gain reparations from America in his final literary work

Martin Luther King Jr. made a great argument for Black Americans to gain reparations from America in his final literary work.

“But underneath, the ambivalence of white America toward the Negro still lurked with painful persistence.  With all the beautiful promise that Douglass saw in the Emancipation Proclamation, he too found that it left the Negro with only abstract freedom.  Four million newly liberated slaves found themselves with no bread to eat, no land to cultivate, no shelter to co...

Alberta and Alfred King, Taking MLK's Consciousness Further

Over the years, the study of Dr. Martin Luther King’s life has been very influential as to how I view the world in which I live. I will not bore you with the general history of what people are usually taught about Dr. King and his struggle for human and civil rights, but I would like to reveal some very important information that will forever change how you look at the world in which we live. Dr. Martin Luther Kings Speech, Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence

Many of you are familiar with Dr. Kings Speech "I have A Dream." As a person who likes to think critically, I often find my
self researching and looking for information to evaluate and o learn from. Inspired by the "I have A Dream" speech, I became interested in what else he had said in his other speeches, so I began my quest to find and listen to as many of his old speeches as possible. During my research, I came across a speech that was delivered years after the "I have A Dream Speech". This...

1up Black History of Freedom Fighters, Part I

As a child, I was told to go to school, but no one ever taught me that depending on student loans to gain higher education was a financial trap.  No one ever showed me how to detect misinformation, useless information, contradictions, and baseless opinions on the television, in the newspapers, and the classroom books. No elders held my hands and taught me the value of thinking critically, and other techniques, in which to improve how I examined the world around me.  There was no knowledge ...

What is the 1up Movement, and 1up Entertainment?

Its very essence stems from the combining and sharing of knowledge and resources, all used in a positive way to enhance the economic and...

Ten Alarming Issues Within Society

Below is a list of ten alarming issues that I feel society needs to address and take more seriously.  This list by no means eliminates many of the other serious issues going on in society, it just happens to be the ones that have caught my attention for some time now.

1)      It’s more expensive to purchase food and gas in low income, and urban communities, compared to wealthier, suburban locations.  The idea that people can set up shop in low income communities, knowing that there are lim...

But listen closely to my words, and heed the message I reveal.
Allegiance that I pledge is real, no symbolism gives me thrill.

Jails should only be owned, and run, by the state.  No state, or individual should be able to make a profit from the creation of a jail or prison.  Wages earned by inmates should be the same as the minimum wage rendered within the state in which the jail , or prison, is located.  If inmates have children, some of the monies, earned from their labor, should go to their children to aid for their living expenses.  For individuals who will be released in the f...

Rap Music Manifesto

Overview

We respectfully demand more from those artists who claim to represent our communities, while they promote violence, guns, sex, drugs and alcohol consumption. As an artist, I also was guilty of sometimes rhyming about such issues, so I am not just pointing the finger, trying to bad-mouth others. Let’s make no mistakes here: I am sure some artists give back to their communities annually, and many of their efforts are never highlighted by the media. Despite all of that, many artists st...

Dedication To Critical Thinking

In your constant search for knowledge, many claims will cross your path.  Critical thinking involves how you decide which claims to be true, false, or if you should suspend judgment on the claim.  Critical thinkers understand the difference between facts and opinions and are more likely to focus on a specific issue, as a result, coming to a most reasonable conclusion based on all the available information.

"The fool who knows his foolishness is wise at least so far. They rarely accept the fact that gray areas may exist, meaning that sometimes there is no clear-cut solution, or that both conflicting explanations may be true. The concept of accepting two realities, or multiple explanations that may sound conflictual in nature is neve...
